By combining a patent-pending process we call Chemical Milling Technology (CMTTM) with proven TiSI Technology (variable face thickness, nearly parallel top and sole, elliptical backweight and JX hosel), our engineers created the driver preferred by 4 of the top 5 at the 2001 World Long Drive Championships. Like all PING clubs, it’s custom fit to help you get maximum performance from your game.

CMTTM is a new process that removes the 'alpha' layer of the titanium casting and precisely controls wall thicknesses. The removal of this material allows us to reposition mass in the form of weight pads on the soleplate near the face of the driver toward the heel and toe.

These weight pads help lower the center of gravity and optimize the golf ball's spin and lift characteristics, creating a boring ball flight and approximately 10 extra yards of distance. In some cases, Tour professionals have reported 20 or more extra yards.
